Relay for Life Fashion Show

September 13, 2017

Enjoy a spring fashion preview from Katies at ClubMulwala.

Now is the time to start planning your spring/summer wardrobe and what better way to do it than with an exclusive High Tea and Fashion Show supporting Sun Country Relay for Life.

Treat yourself to a day out on Thursday, October 12 from 2pm to 4pm at ClubMulwala and enjoy all things fashion along with a delicious high tea and exclusive giveaways.
The fashion show is presented by fashion label Katies with proceeds dedicated to support the Sun Country Relay for Life to be held in Yarrawonga on October 28 and 29.
Last year, Cancer Council Victoria’s Relay For Life event in Sun Country (Cobram Barooga) saw cancer survivors and carers come together to reflect and pay tribute to loved ones.
This year, the Sun Country (Yarrawonga-Mulwala) Relay For Life returns to Yarrawonga and teams still have time to register.
With less than 50 days to go, 15 teams and 163 participants have already registered and together already raised $13,796 to support Cancer Council Victoria’s research, prevention and support services.
Teams of 10 will participate in the relay by keeping their baton moving around the track overnight to raise funds for Cancer Council Victoria.
The Sun Country (Yarrawonga-Mulwala) event will also feature special ceremonies, including an honorary lap for survivors and carers.
At dusk, there will be a Candlelight Ceremony in which participants and their families can reflect and pay tribute to a loved one affected by a cancer experience.
You can still be part of the fun. Registration is just $20 if you sign up before midnight on Sunday, October 1.
Online registrations are open right up until October 22 and you can even still register on the day of the event – just look out for the friendly volunteers at the registration desk.
